Long time coming but we are now in... the blogging community that is!
United Caregivers is a network community site in the Spruz network. We are here for everyone, literally. There are so many types of caregiving that we just didn't want to leave anyone out.
Animal Care - with the economy today having such difficulty with finances we find so many more abandoned and mistreated pets even. And then there are the ones who take extremely overboard care and their pets become their children ... so they all need care of some sort. Here, we can discuss matters, reach out to others and just shoot the breeze about their care and issues.
Child Care - there are so many issues we face daily with children as parents, friends, teachers, physicians. We want this to be a place were everyone can come together at one place to share experiences and maybe some who are having difficult situations can relate with someone who has already been thru difficulties, albeit personal parent/child relationships, difficult children who have behavioral problems, or health, school or personal issues.
Elder Care - a rising social issue. Used tobe , there were no nursing homes and assisted living centers. As children and relatives, we were expected to take care of our parents and elderly family members no matter where they fit in our family. Now, society has become so dependent on others to take care of our loved ones that we need to bind together to find the best places for them to live or be cared for. There truly is just way too much abuse being reported with those who are caring for them. We offer discussion for your experiences and some possible "un-degreed" advice from others who may be or have been in your own situations. We encourage all to add help numbers for those in their own areas.
Plant Care - absolutely! There are so many great uses of our plants... herbs, spices, medicinal values, and the most important of all - OXYGEN! They put off necessary elements in our environment for our health. Plants are also our source of nutrition and well being. There is the great possibility we find that they are much more valuable to us than this generation understands. We all need to learn to take care of our environment more and how to keep our oxygen from being depleted, as they are a main source of our health.
Then there is the whole picture -- YOU care. If you are not taking care of animals, children, elderly, or plants.. oudoubtedly (except in extreme situtations) you are taking care of YOU, your self. Here at our United Caregivers network we offer helpful information for health care situations; illness, disease, pain management, mental and behavioral issues... not as educated experts but as individuals who have true life experience in these situations. We want you to have a place to come and share with others either your experience or your issue. Give it a try!
